Oracle Enable block change tracking

 How to enable block change tracking in Oracle Database 11gR2:

 Database block change tracking if enabled then RMAN can refer to the change tracking file to identify changed blocks in datafiles without scanning the full contents of the datafile. Once enabled, block change tracking does not alter how you take or use incremental backups, other than offering increased performance.

SQL> select * from v$block_change_tracking;

STATUS        FILENAME        BYTES
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DISABLED

SQL> alter database enable block change tracking using file '+DATA2';
